The Union Public Service Commission will soon release the admit card for the Engineering Services Examination Preliminary 2026 on its official website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates appearing for the examination are required to download the e-admit card online, as no physical copies will be sent by post.The Engineering Services Examination Preliminary 2026 is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026. As per the commission’s notification, the admit card is made available around three weeks before the examination. Aspirants must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre.ESE prelims 2026 exam schedule and admit card detailsThe preliminary examination will be conducted on February 8, 2026, across designated centres. The admit card will be released only through the official UPSC website. Candidates will not be permitted to enter the examination hall without the e-admission certificate.Alongside the printed admit card, applicants must bring with them an original photo proof of identity like Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport or Driving License, as per the details filled in the online application form. To check and download the admit card, applicants can go through these steps: Step 1: First, they should open the official UPSC website upsc.gov.in Step 2: After that, click on the link corresponding to the Engineering Services Examination Preliminary 2026 admit card Step 3: Next, input the required login credentials like registration ID or roll number Step 4: Then, submit the details and the e-admit card will be displayed on the screen Step 5: Finally, save and print a clear copy of it for use during the examination Permitted documents and items at the examination centre Applicants must present a printed copy of ESE 2026 admit card along with a valid photo identity proof during the examination. Only non-programmable battery-operated calculators and basic drawing instruments are allowed inside the examination hall.
