RSSB Lab Assistant recruitment 2026: The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) is closing the registration window today for the Lab Assistant Recruitment 2026. Candidates who have not yet applied for the 804 vacancies must complete their online application before the deadline ends today, February 25, 2026.This recruitment drive offers a big opportunity for candidates with a science background who are looking for a government job in Rajasthan.
Important dates
According to the official schedule announced by RSSB Chairman Alok Raj, the online application process started on January 27, 2026, and will end today, February 25, 2026.No offline forms will be accepted. Candidates must submit their application through the official website before the last date.
Total vacancies
A total of 804 Lab Assistant posts have been announced. These posts fall under Group-C category of the Rajasthan government.The vacancies are divided into two streams:
- Science Lab Assistant
- Geography Lab Assistant
The posts will be filled in government schools and institutions across different districts of Rajasthan. Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and other categories will be given as per state government rules.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates who want to apply must meet the following requirements:
- Must have passed 10+2 (Senior Secondary) from a recognized board.
- For Science Lab Assistant posts, candidates must have studied Science in 10+2.
- For Geography Lab Assistant posts, candidates must have studied Geography in 10+2.
- Must have knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
- Should be aware of Rajasthani culture.
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 35 years (age relaxation applicable as per rules).
Selection process
The selection will be done in two stages:
- Written examination
- Document verification
Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for document verification.
