RBSE Class 10 result 2026: Rechecking, re-exam process explained; check how to apply
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) officially released the Class 10 Result 2026 yesterday, March 24, 2026, around 1 PM. The results were made live on the board’s official websites: rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in and rajresults.nic.in. Around 6.08 lakh students had registered for the exam, which was conducted from February 21 to February 28, 2026. This year, the overall pass percentage stood at 94.23%, slightly higher than last year’s 93.06%.Now, the board has also issued detailed guidelines for students who are not satisfied with their marks and wish to apply for scrutiny, obtain answer sheet copies, or go for re-examination in selected subjects.
Scrutiny: What it means
RBSE has clarified that scrutiny does not mean full re-evaluation of answers. Instead, it only includes checking for:
- Errors in total marks calculation
- Missing marks for any question
- Mistakes in transferring marks
No fresh checking of answers is done under scrutiny.
New option this year: Re-examination
From this year, RBSE has introduced a re-examination option for specific subjects:
- English
- Science
- Mathematics
Students can apply for re-checking first and then request re-examination in these subjects if needed.
How to apply
Students can apply online through the RBSE official website or via e-Mitra centers. Applications must be submitted within:
- 7 days of result declaration with normal fee
- Additional 3 days with late fee
Offline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.Application fees
- Scrutiny fee: ₹400 per subject
- Late fee: ₹800 per subject
- Objection fee: ₹100 per subject
- Re-examination fee: ₹100 per question
Important rules students must know
- Students can apply for scrutiny only once
- Marks may increase or decrease after checking
- Fees will not be refunded in any case
- Students must upload a valid ID (Aadhaar card, voter ID, etc.) while applying
- Correct mobile number and email ID are important to receive updates
Answer sheet access
After applying, students will receive login details via SMS or email. They can:
- Download their scanned answer sheets
- Check results within 5 days of upload
The answer sheet will remain available online for a limited time only.
Raising objections
If students find any issue after viewing their answer sheet, they can raise objections online within 5 days. They must provide proper details such as:
- Subject name
- Question number
- Supporting proof
No offline or late objections will be accepted.RBSE has advised students not to rush into applying for scrutiny just to increase marks. Changes happen only in a small number of cases, and decisions taken by the board after rechecking or re-examination will be final.Students are also advised to continue with their next academic steps instead of waiting for revised results.
