NCL recruitment 2026: Notification released for 577 posts; registration begins on April 9

NCL recruitment 2026: Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) has released the detailed notification for recruitment to 577 posts for the year 2026. The online application process will begin on April 9, 2026, and eligible candidates can apply through the official website. According to the detailed notification, NCL, a subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL), has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for multiple posts, including Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) Operator (Trainee), Paramedical Staff, and Overseer (Civil). Selected candidates will be posted at mines, hospitals, and establishments located in Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh and Sonbhadra district of Uttar Pradesh. Important dates

According to the official notification, the online registration will start on April 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The last date to submit the application form is May 1, 2026, till 11:59 PM. The Computer Based Test (CBT) date will be announced later on the official website.

Vacancy details

A total of 577 vacancies have been announced for various posts including HEMM Operator (Trainee), Paramedical Staff, and Overseer (Civil). These posts include Dumper Operator, Dozer Operator, Grader Operator, Crane Operator, Staff Nurse, Pharmacist, Technician, Physiotherapist, Radiographer, and others, according to the detailed notification.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications for each post. Depending on the post, qualifications range from Matriculation (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) to diploma or degree in relevant fields such as nursing, pharmacy, radiography, physiotherapy, and civil engineering. The notification also says that candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility conditions before applying. Higher qualifications are allowed, but qualifications obtained through distance or part-time mode will not be considered.

Selection process

The selection process will be based on a CBT. Candidates who qualify in the test will be called for document verification. Final selection will be made based on merit and eligibility criteria. The CBT will carry 100 marks and will be conducted for 90 minutes. There will be no negative marking, and the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi, according to the official notification.

Application fee

Candidates belonging to Unreserved (UR), Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer, and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories must pay an application fee of Rs 1000 plus applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST), totaling Rs 1180. Candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Ex-servicemen, and departmental candidates are exempted from paying the fee, according to the detailed notification.
