Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2026 registration started on January 10. Students desiring to appear in the exam for admission to UG courses in engineering, pharmacy, and other professional streams in Maharashtra can fill out the application form online now. The closing date for the submission of online applications is 12th February 2026.Applicants must complete the registration process on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. Students need to have Aadhaar number, APAAR ID along with other documents such as class 10 and 12 certificates if they want to apply. Application fee and eligibility

The application fee for general category candidates is ₹1,300. Reserved category candidates, including SC, ST, and OBC, must pay ₹1,000. Students who have passed or are appearing in class 12 with the required subjects are eligible to apply. Students applying for the PCM group must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students applying for the PCB group must have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the CET Cell to ensure their application is valid.

MHT CET exam dates and other details

MHT CET 2026 will be conducted in two sessions. The PCM group exam will be held from April 11 to April 19, and the PCB group exam will be held from April 21 to April 26. The second session for PCM is scheduled from May 14 to May 17, and for PCB from May 10 to May 11. After the exam, results will be announced on the official website, and the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) will follow for seat allocation in colleges.
