The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the correction window for JEE Main 2026 application forms will open on February 27, 2026. All registered candidates have been advised to visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, to verify their particulars and make corrections, if required. The facility will remain available till February 28, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). After the deadline, no correction in any detail will be allowed under any circumstances. Candidates must review their application form carefully and complete the process within the given timeline. NTA has clearly stated that requests for changes will not be accepted after the window closes.

JEE Main session 2 correction window active from February 27

As per the official notice, candidates can edit their particulars only through the official website. The correction link will be activated on February 27 and will remain open for a limited period.Candidates must log in using their application number and password or date of birth. They should check all personal and academic details carefully before submitting the corrected form. Fields where correction is allowed

As per the official notice released by NTA, candidates will be able to make corrections in the following fields:

  • Candidate’s Name
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Sub-category / PwD status
  • Educational qualification details
  • State code of eligibility
  • Choice of examination city
  • Medium of question paper

Candidates must ensure that all corrected details match their official documents.No changes will be permitted after the correction window closes. Certain basic registration details such as mobile number and email ID are generally not allowed to be changed.If any correction leads to an increase in the application fee (for example, change in category), the additional fee must be paid online for the update to be accepted.

Additional fee, if applicable

NTA has informed that if any correction leads to an increase in the application fee, the candidate must pay the additional amount. The payment can be made online through:

  • Credit Card
  • Debit Card
  • Net Banking
  • UPI

Corrections that require extra payment will be considered valid only after successful transaction. If the fee is not paid, the changes will not be accepted.

How to make corrections and download confirmation page

Once the correction window opens, candidates will be able to make changes to their JEE Main session 2 application form in the following way:

  1. Go to https://jeemain.nta.nic in/
  2. Click on the link to JEE Main 2026 correction window
  3. Log in using application credentials
  4. Check and modify the details as necessary
  5. Make an additional payment, if required
  6. Send the form
  7. Get and print the revised confirmation page

It is recommended that candidates keep the updated confirmation page copy for reference and also keep looking at the official website for further updates.
