The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has officially released the JAC Board examination time table 2026 for Class 8, Class 9, and Class 11 students. JAC Board exam dates 2026: Overview
- Class 8 exams: February 24, 2026
- Class 11 exams: February 25 to February 27, 2026
- Class 9 exams: February 28 to March 2, 2026
All examinations will be conducted using OMR sheets. Students will be given 15 minutes of extra reading time before the start of every examination.
JAC Class 11 exam time table 2026
The Jharkhand Board Class 11 examinations will be held in two sittings each day.Exam shift timings for Class 11:Paper I:
- Morning: 10:45 am to 12:00 pm
- Afternoon: 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm
Paper II:
- Morning: 10:45 am to 1:00 pm
- Afternoon: 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm
Paper III:
- Morning: 10:45 am to 1:00 pm
- Afternoon: 2:00 pm to 3:15 pm

The Jharkhand Board Class 9 exams will also be conducted in two shifts.Exam timings for Class 9:
- Paper 1 and Paper 3: 9:45 am to 1:00 pm
- Paper 2: 2:00 pm to 5:15 pm

The Jharkhand Board Class 8 examination will be held on February 24, 2026, in two sittings.
Admit card download schedule
According to the official notice issued by JAC, school principals must download and distribute admit cards as per the schedule below:
Passing criteria and marking scheme
- Class 9 and Class 11 students must appear in five main subjects
- Students must pass in at least four subjects to be declared successful
- Each subject paper will have: 40 marks for Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), 10 marks for internal assessment conducted by the school or college
For Class 8, each subject paper will carry 50 marks, and schools will conduct an internal assessment of 100 marks at the institutional level.Students are advised to regularly check the official JAC websites for updates and follow instructions issued by their schools.
