HPSC PGT Computer Science recruitment 2026: Apply online for 1672 posts, check details
The Haryana Public Service Commission has issued the official notification for recruitment to the posts of Post Graduate Teacher in Computer Science. A total of 1,672 vacancies have been notified under the HPSC PGT Computer Science Recruitment 2026 drive across Haryana.According to the notification released on February 05, 2026, the online application process will commence on February 16, 2026 and remain open until March 09, 2026. Eligible candidates will be required to submit their applications through the official website, hpsc.gov.in, within the stipulated time frame.Recruitment overview and key datesThe recruitment is being conducted for the post of PGT Teacher in Computer Science, with all 1,672 posts to be filled in Haryana. Candidates are advised to complete the process well before the closing date to avoid last-minute issues.Application fee and mode of paymentThe application fee for candidates belonging to the General, OBC and other state categories has been fixed at Rs. 1,000. Applications submitted without the prescribed fee will not be considered.Vacancy details, age limit and qualificationAll 1,672 vacancies are for the post of Post Graduate Teacher (Computer Science). Applicants must possess M.Sc. in Computer Science, MCA, BE or B.Tech with at least 55 per cent marks. In addition, candidates must have qualified HTET or STET.The age limit for the recruitment is 18 to 42 years. The crucial date for calculation of age is March 09, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided in accordance with the prescribed rules.Selection process and application procedureThe selection process will comprise a written examination, followed by a subject knowledge test, interview, document verification and medical examination.To apply, candidates must first check their eligibility in the official notification.
