55-year-old Indian-origin Canadian businessman attacked and killed by stranger in Edmonton.

In a strange, unprovoked incident, 55-year-old Indian-origin Canadian businessman Arvi Singh Sagoo was attacked by a stranger in Edmonton after the man found the attacker peeing on his car. The incident took place on October 19 and Arvi died on October 24. Edmonton police said they arrested Kyle Papin, 40, in connection with the fatal assault and charged him with aggravated assault. Global News reported that Sagoo was out for dinner with his girlfriend on October 19. When the couple was walking back to their car in the early morning hours, they found a trail of people who were peeing on their car. “Hey, what are you doing?” Arvi asked the stranger, as his brother told Global News. “Whatever I want,” one of them replied to Arvi and then walked up to him and punched him in his head. He fell to the ground; his girlfriend called 911. When the paramedics arrived, Arvi was already unconscious. He was taken to a hospital and was placed on life support. He died five days later.Arvi did not know his attacker. Arvi’s friend Vincent Ram has started a fundraiser for the two children left behind by Arvi.
