The Blue Jays lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-1 on Friday, muting the festivities at the Rogers Centre, where fans had anticipated a momentous night.

Before the first pitch on Friday, the atmosphere inside and outside the ballpark was electric, with some fans saying they had travelled for hours to be part of the experience.

Millions of fans across the country are also cheering on the Jays from their homes, bars and watch parties.
