Crowd cheers as airport workers finally collapse stubborn baby stroller
Two baggage handlers went viral after battling a stubborn baby stroller for several long minutes.
The scene unfolded at Kansas City International Airport as travelers watched the struggle from a jet bridge above the tarmac.
Jason Falen, who was waiting to board a flight to Denver, started recording when he realized the two workers were completely baffled by the baby gear.

“I only caught the very end,” Falen told Storyful.Â
“They had been trying to figure it out for five minutes, and it was comedy gold!”

While the video provided a lighthearted moment, travel expert and former flight attendant Bobby Laurie told Fox News Digital that stroller etiquette at the airport really comes down to “courtesy and preparation.”
“Parents should absolutely be ready to fold their stroller themselves before handing it off to gate agents or ground staff, unless they physically need assistance,” Laurie said.

“Well, there’s two little buttons on the side. Like, does he not see those?” one bystander said just seconds before the workers cracked the code.
When the stroller finally collapsed into the flat position, the waiting crowd erupted into cheers and applause for the workers on the ground.

One of the baggage handlers even joined in, applauding himself for finally winning the “fight” against the stroller before loading it into the plane’s cargo hold.
“Staff are there to help manage the process.”
Laurie warned that because every stroller is different, there’s no guarantee the staff has encountered that particular product before to ensure they can collapse it without damage.

“Staff are there to help manage the process, but they should not be expected to wrestle with unfamiliar gear while boarding is underway,” he added.

To avoid a similar scene, Laurie suggests parents remove all personal items, know how their stroller folds before getting to the gate, and be prepared to do it quickly.
The struggle resonated with parents on Reddit, many of whom admitted they have been outsmarted by their own baby gear.

“One time I was in a parking garage with my baby and I could not close the stroller. I had to watch YouTube videos to figure it out,” one user wrote.
Others agreed that some modern designs are unnecessarily complicated — leading to high-stress moments.
“I’ve sobbed over the exact same issue before,” another user commented.
