India finally got lucky with the toss against Australia and chose to bowl first in the third T20I on Sunday, looking to square the series after the visitors went down 0-1 following a four-wicket loss in the second game at the MCG in Sydney. The early exchanges produced a light moment involving Josh Inglis and Jasprit Bumrah. Bowling in his very first over, Bumrah surprised Inglis with a delivery that swung sharply into the batter. The Australian, attempting a reverse sweep to a length ball, missed completely as it struck him on the left thigh, close to the groin area. Caught off-guard, Inglis smiled before muttering, “that swung heaps,” as his reaction was picked up clearly on the stump mic. The clip soon found its way to social media, where fans praised Bumrah’s skill and Inglis’s response to what could have been an awkward moment.Watch the moment here Inglis, however, could not make much of an impact with the bat. After Travis Head fell early to Arshdeep Singh in the first over, Inglis became the second to depart for Australia. Facing Arshdeep in the third over, the right-hander miscued a pull shot off a length delivery outside leg stump, only to find Axar Patel at deep backward square leg. By the halfway mark of the innings, India’s decision to bowl first had paid off.

The visitors reduced Australia to 84 for 4 after 10 overs, with Marcus Stoinis on 8 off 6 balls and Tim David leading the fightback with 57 off 28. India’s bowlers kept things tight early, striking at regular intervals, setting up an exciting contest in the chase to come.
