Bihar Board to release second selection list for D.El.Ed 2025-27 admission in non-government institutes
The Bihar School Examination Board has issued important information regarding the release of the second selection list for qualified and eligible applicants of the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination, 2025. The list relates to admission for the training session 2025-27 in all non-government institutions recognised by NCTE and affiliated to the Board.Through Notification No. PR 305/2025, the committee had invited online applications from candidates who passed the D.El.Ed Joint Entrance Examination, 2025, for admission to NCTE-recognised training institutes affiliated to the Board across the state. Based on applications received, institute preferences and departmental provisions, initial seat allocation and admission to government training institutes were conducted as per rules.Second list for non-government institutes releasedSubsequently, the first list for admission to non-government institutions was issued under Notification No. PR 40/2026 and the admission process was commenced. Continuing the process, the committee has now prepared the second selection list for non-government training institutes on the basis of applications, available vacancies and candidate preferences.The schedule for the second selection list and related activities is as follows:
Fee structure and slide up provision clarifiedApplicants admitted under the first selection list to non-government institutes by depositing Rs. 3,000 and opting for slide up, whose institute remains unchanged in the second list, are required to deposit the remaining first-year fee at their allotted institute if satisfied.The second selection list and institute allotment details will be available on the committee’s portal, www.bsebdeled.com, accessible through login credentials. Applicants not selected can also view their status on the portal.The maximum annual fee for the first year of the two-year D.El.Ed course has been fixed at Rs. 60,000. Candidates allotted institutes may secure admission by depositing Rs. 3,000 and may exercise the slide up option for preferred institutes.Directions to institutions over fee complaintsThe committee has received complaints alleging that certain institutions demanded fees exceeding prescribed limits during the first phase of enrolment. Separate action has been initiated against the concerned institutions under the rules.Heads of non-government institutions have been directed not to charge more than the prescribed fee under any circumstances. Complaints of violations will attract action, for which the institution concerned will be held responsible.The detailed procedure for seat allocation and admission is outlined in Notification No. PR 305/2025.
