The Rashtriya Military Schools (RMS) have officially released the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Class VI and Class IX for the academic session 2026–27. Along with the declaration of results, category-wise cut-off marks have been published and e-call letters for the interview stage have been issued on 09 February 2026, marking an important milestone in the admission process. The written examination for both Class VI and Class IX was conducted on 07 December 2025. Following the exam, answer keys were released on 11 December 2025, and candidates were given an opportunity to submit grievances till 17 December 2025. After resolving objections and finalising the answer keys, RMS declared the performance of candidates and announced the cut-off marks for shortlisting candidates for interviews. For Class VI, the cut-off marks vary across categories and gender. In the JCOs & OR (General) category, the cut-off stands at 129 for boys and 132 for girls, while for Civilians (General), it is 138 for both boys and girls. In reserved categories such as SC and ST, the cut-offs are comparatively lower. For JCOs & OR (General), the cut-off is 149 for boys and 155 for girls. In some categories, particularly for girls in SC and ST under Officers and Civilian categories, seats are marked as NA due to non-availability of vacancies. As per the provisional vacancy details, a total of 507 seats are available across all RMSs for the 2026–27 session, with 358 seats in Class VI and 149 seats in Class IX. Vacancies under the Killed in Action category are additional and not included in this total.Candidates who have met or exceeded the cut-off marks can now download their e-call letters for the interview from the official portal.
