The report noted that among metals and mining companies, B shares displayed both attractive valuation metrics and strong profitability metrics. For example, the recent B share price of $43.97 represents a price-to-book ratio of 3.0 and an annual dividend yield of 3.82% — by comparison, the average metals and mining stock in Dividend Channel’s coverage universe yields 1.5% and trades at a price-to-book ratio of 4.9.
