CSIR UGC NET December 2025 scorecard: The National Testing Agency has declared the scores of the Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination on its official website, csirnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination conducted for eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor can now access and download their scorecards online.The Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination was conducted in Computer Based Test mode across India for five subjects. The scorecards came out once the final keys were set and after the challenge questions submitted by the candidates through the official portal were checked.Details of the exam and the numbers of candidates who took partThe Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam was conducted on Dec 18, 2025, at 220 cities in India in two shifts. A total of 2,12,552 candidates registered for the examination, out of which 1,54,080 candidates appeared. The test covered Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Physical Sciences.Among the registered candidates, 1,25,748 were females, 86,801 were males, and three candidates were from the third gender category. Of these, 93,193 female candidates, 60,886 male candidates, and one third gender candidate appeared for the examination.Subject-wise attendance statisticsLife Sciences led the way with the highest number of registrations at 90, 434 candidates, out of which 67, 032 appeared. Chemical Sciences had 45, 348 candidates registered and 32, 957 appeared. Mathematical Sciences had 37, 177 registrations with 26, 114 appearing, whereas Physical Sciences recorded 31, 500 registered candidates and 22, 533 appearances. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences had 8,093 registered candidates, with 5,444 appearing for the test.
