A life beyond Earth: Celebrating Sunita Williams’ 27 years as Nasa's cosmonaut – see pics



Sunita Williams’ retirement marked the end of a remarkable chapter in Nasa’s human spaceflight history. Over a 27-year career, the veteran astronaut completed three missions to the International Space Station, logged 608 days in space and set records for spacewalks by a woman.
