DElEd CET 2026: application process and exam schedule

The DElEd CET 2026 application process is being conducted online only. The DElEd CET 2026 examination will be conducted between January 19 and February 18, 2026. The test will be held in multiple shifts, depending on the number of applicants. Eligibility criteria for DElEd CET 2026

Candidates applying for DElEd CET 2026 must meet the eligibility conditions set by the Bihar School Examination Board. Applicants should have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination from a recognised board. General category candidates must have secured at least 50 per cent marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Persons with Disabilities categories must have secured at least 45 per cent marks. The minimum age to apply for the entrance test is 17 years. There is no upper age limit mentioned in the notification. Candidates appearing in the Class 12 examination can also apply, provided they meet the eligibility conditions at the time of admission.

Application fee and selection process

The application fee for DElEd CET 2026 varies by category. Candidates belonging to General, EWS, BC, and EBC categories need to pay Rs 960. Candidates from SC, ST, and Divyang categories are required to pay Rs 760. The fee can be paid online using debit card, credit card, or net banking. Admission to the DElEd programme will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance test. After the exam, the board will release a provisional answer key. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections within the given period. The final result is expected to be declared in March 2026.
