The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released the round 2 seat allotment result for the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET) January 2026 counselling.Candidates who took part in the second round of counselling can now check their allotted institute and subject or specialty on the official AIIMS exams website at aiimsexams.ac.in. The seat allotment result has been released in PDF format.
INI CET January 2026 round 2 seat allotment: Important dates
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round 2 must report to the allotted institute and exercise their option on or before January 15, 2026.As per the official notice:
- Option A requires candidates to accept the seat
- Candidates must submit original documents with one set of self-attested photocopies
- Alternatively, candidates can submit a Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 3 lakh in favour of “AIIMS Main Grant Account”, payable at State Bank of India (SBI), Ansari Nagar, New Delhi
PWBD candidates verification detailsCandidates under the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD) category who have been allotted a new or upgraded seat must report for disability verification.

INI CET January 2026 counselling: Candidates excluded from round 2 allotment
The round 2 seat allotment list does not include:
- Candidates who did not participate in round 1 counselling
- Candidates who were allotted a seat in round 1 but did not select any option online by December 24, 2025
- Candidates who failed to complete required formalities after the first round
AIIMS has clarified that candidates who participated in round 2 but were not allotted any seat will automatically be eligible for further rounds, if conducted, including any open round, as per rules.
INI CET January 2026 round 2: Documents required
Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round 2 must report to the allotted institute with the following documents:
- Offer letter
- Seat allotment slip
- Final registration slip
- AIIMS INI CET admit card
- Mark sheets of MBBS or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd professional examinations
- MBBS or BDS degree certificate
- Internship completion certificate or a certificate from the Head of Institution confirming completion of 12-month compulsory rotating internship or practical training on or before January 31, 2026
- Permanent or provisional registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI), Dental Council of India (DCI), or the respective State Medical or Dental Council
- High school, higher secondary certificate, or birth certificate as proof of date of birth
- Applicable caste certificate, if required

Follow the steps given below to check and download the seat allotment result:
- Visit the official website at aiimsexams.ac.in
- Click on the INI CET January 2026 counselling link available on the homepage
- Select the round 2 seat allotment result option
- The seat allotment PDF will open on the screen
- Check your roll number and allotted institute
- Download and save the PDF for future reference
